    What is Animation? Animation  is the process of creating the illusion of movement by displaying a sequence of still images or frames. Each frame differs slightly from the one before it, creating the appearance of motion when played rapidly in sequence.  Types of Animation Traditional Animation (2D, Hand-Drawn) Drawings are made frame by frame on paper or digitally. Used in classic cartoons like  Snow White  or  Looney Tunes . 2.  2D Digital Animation Similar to traditional, but done with digital tools.
